This shoot happened last Saturday as a favor to my friend, Monica. She’s the one who lent me her nice, super-fun 60D to play with & I agreed to do a quick family shoot for them. I couldn’t believe how much you have to keep track of in a shoot like this…and it doesn’t help that at this point I get a bit of a “deer in headlights” feeling when I start clicking & I have trouble thinking of the shot list while managing settings & trying to direct posing. Thank goodness the Davises are experienced with the whole posing thing, so they did a lot of the work themselves.
I’m going to miss having the 60D around & hope that maybe I can upgrade one of these days.
And hopefully with continued practice that blank-head feeling will disappear.
